They can also be used as boilie toppers for hair rigs. Floating maggots are a perfect tool for creating slow-sinking baits. They can be used to balance hooks alone or with a maggot clip. Use a plastic maggot at the beginning and end of a maggot bundle if you want to thread real maggots onto bait floss or thin line to prevent them from bursting when knotted.
