Fox Carp Super Wide Gape (Out-Turned Eye)

This is the outward turned eye version of the Super Wide Gape which makes it perfect for Chod, Hinged and Flurocarbon D-Rigs. This hook was born out of many long discussions with our consultants and other very experienced anglers. The idea that having the widest possible opening when constructing a rig will result in more carp hooked is very much appreciated by many anglers. That's why we set out to develop a hook with an even wider gap than our hugely popular Wide Gape and Stiff Rig hooks. This is the "Super Wide Gape", a hook with a long, wide curved bend, a super sharp beak tip and a larger opening than any other hook we have used so far. In tests, this hook has proven to be an incredible fish catcher on even the simplest of mounts. When the fish has sucked in the mount, there is so much hook point exposed when the hook is cast that the chance of the hook holding is considerably greater, so you need to worry less about the mechanics of the mount and more about getting it in the right place. Super wide open version of the Wide Gape Beaked Point Edges hook with an eye turned outwards. The enlarged opening allows the point to better penetrate the fish's mouth. A curved point reduces hook pull and is perfect for fishing with groundbaits on hard gravel.
