The 45 mm spool stroke in combination with the Slow Cross Wrap (SCW) line lay ensures extreme casting distances and optimal line management. The Slow Cross line lay and the special Longcast spool with optimised casting edge minimise frictional resistance during casting and increase the casting distance. The strong Digigear II gearbox in combination with the torsion-resistant rotor made of Zaion V material offers optimal power transmission under load and supports easy retrieving of the reel from a long distance. The Magsealed construction on the axle prevents saltwater and dirt particles from entering the reel body and increases durability. The new QDM brake has a slightly longer adjustment travel than the previous model and can be very finely adjusted - ideal for adjusting to current conditions and drilling situations in seconds.
