With the Caldia SW, Daiwa offers an extra strong and resilient Marine reel for fishing cod, halibut, coalfish and pollock, as well as for medium-heavy fishing for amberjack, mahi mahi, etc. The MQ body made of aluminium allows the use of a significantly larger gear, which has an enormous retrieving power and load capacity. The special, larger teeth on the Tough Digigear drive gear improve power transmission and significantly increase smoothness and durability. The Magsealed construction on the axle prevents saltwater and particles from entering via the main axle and reduces the risk of corrosion inside. The ATD drag system, in combination with the carbon fibre brake discs, ensures optimum release of the Line under load, high braking power and a long service life. With extra strong aluminium crank and extra large T-shape crank knob.
