Shimano Baitcast Reel Aldebaran MGL
The Aldebaran MGL from Shimano is a super light low profile baitcast reel, perfect for ultra light finesse fishing. The ultra-light MGL reel has a very low starting inertia for improved precision and casting distance with light lures. The maximum braking force of 4.5 kg is enough even for big fish. The X-SHIP gearbox ensures efficient power transmission from the crank to the spool. The S3D spool reduces vibration when casting.

- Avoid high sticking: Do not bend your rod too much while you are drilling a fish, which is known as “high sticking. Hold the rod at a maximum loading angle of 45 to 60 degrees to avoid breakage.
- Aligning the rod for snags: If your lure snags, keep the rod pointed at the hook while walking backwards to reduce the strain on the rod.
