The reel's lightweight C-40X carbon frame is paired with an Ultralight spool for ergonomic use - and inside the body is an 18kg drag system that will bring any fish to a stop. Designed for casting in the surf, the long-stroke spool allows line to drain easily during casts, while the one-piece bail and ultra-slow oscillation reduce friction and spin.
