Korda Long Chuck Tapered Mainline

The Long Chuck Tapered Mainline is designed for distance casting without leader knots, especially in weedy areas to avoid problems with knots. Supplied on a 300m spool, it has an 8m section of 0.47mm diameter (30lb) at both ends to take the strain of casting and provide good abrasion resistance. The 2 m long, tapered section merges into the desired diameter of the main line. The line is identical at both ends so that it can simply be turned over on the spool and reused if necessary. It is characterized by extremely low stretch, low water absorption and a good ratio of breaking strain to diameter, which makes casting easier and reduces drag.
