The 23' has been improved in essential points compared to the previous model and is lighter, more sensitive and stronger than the previous model. By using the new lightweight Airdrive rotor, the balance of the reel is moved from the front unit to the rear reel section, providing better overall balance and more sensitivity when fishing. The lure feel is transmitted better and you can react faster. The precise and strong Tough Gigigear gearbox provides high retrieving power and long-lasting silky smooth running. The new Airdrive bail is lighter than before, enormously resilient and, in combination with the new bail arm, there is significantly less tangling during casting. If the line gets tangled in the bail arm, it simply slips over the arm into the line roller by turning the crank and there is no need to intervene. The ATD Type-L brake releases the line under load without high initial resistance and ensures a lot of safety even in the fight of a capital. The aluminium Loncast ABS spool has an optimised casting edge for less friction and longer casting distances. The Twistbuster III construction on the line roller ensures that braided line in particular is not pressed flat when spooled and that there is less twist.
